It was very inspiring to learn about the Moosehide campaign as to how it encourages citizenships to participate to unpack violence against women and children. How Raven Lacerte started this campaign along with her father. I will definitely bring those moosehide pins into my future school and classroom to pledge against violence towards other human beings. Kathryn Lacerte is also a great resource for my future class. I would love to invite her into my classroom.
Through mapping and visits to the museum, and other field trips I can unpack social justice issues with my students while keeping their emotional and developmental readiness in mind.
