I learned about inquiry with Trevor Mackenzie when he was a guest speaker in my Tech class. I am currently reading his inquiry mindset assessment book.
Inquiry learning is embedded into the revised curriculum to encourage students to “inquire into topics that interest them” and “work together to accomplish goals… through solving a problem, conducting an inquiry, and working together on community projects” (BC Ministry of Education, 2015, p.3)
The presentation by Kyra Kelpin about the inquiry mindset has enriched my knowledge about inquiry-based learning.
